Kilkenny County Council - Local Elections 2024
All 24 seats
were filled on Kilkenny County Council by 1.40am on Monday, June 10th. Not much
change locally with FF-FG holding the power on the Council. Labour made
impressive gains and won a seat in Kilkenny city.
I enjoyed covering the Kilkenny count alongside the RTÉ elections team who had an eye on the wider region.
The public service provided by the entire network of staff and freelancers for RTÉ for LE2024 was outstanding. This is when public service really matters.
